Privacy Policy

CircaFlow is designed to collect the minimum data needed to create shift-work sleep plans. This policy describes what is collected, why, and how it is protected.

Data the App Uses

CircaFlow uses the following data to operate:

  • Account identifier — to sync your data to the correct profile.
  • Chronotype — to adjust sleep timing recommendations to your biology.
  • Occupation category — for optional personalisation and product improvement.
  • Timezone — to calculate correct local sleep windows and reminders.
  • Shifts — the core input that drives every daily plan.
  • Sleep logs and feedback — to display your history and improve plan quality over time.
  • Subscription status — to unlock Pro features and restore purchases.
  • Analytics and crash data — to improve app reliability and product quality.
  • Local notification timing — stored on your device to deliver sleep, caffeine, and melatonin reminders.

Data the App Does Not Need

CircaFlow does not request or use: precise location, contacts, photos, microphone access, camera access, medical records, or financial account data. Reminders are scheduled locally on your device — no remote push token is needed for the current implementation.

Third-Party Services

The following services process data on CircaFlow's behalf:

  • Supabase — account and app data storage, encrypted at rest and in transit.
  • RevenueCat — subscription status and paywall. Payment details are handled by the app store, not by CircaFlow directly.
  • Sentry — crash and error reporting.
  • PostHog — anonymised product analytics.
  • Expo Application Services — app builds and over-the-air updates.

Data Deletion

You can delete all app-owned profile, shift, and sleep-log data at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account. CircaFlow signs you out and clears all local app state immediately after deletion.

GDPR

CircaFlow is operated from France and complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You have the right to access, rectify, and erase your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us via @CircaFlow on X.

Health Boundary

CircaFlow is not a medical device and does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment. Questionnaire scores (ESS, ISI) are validated screening tools — not clinical diagnoses. Discuss your results with a healthcare provider.
